What makes it worth it, and what doesn't
The staff was excellent. It reminded me of family every morning. Enjoying breakfast in the lovely garden added charm to my stay.
Noise from the nearby restaurant disturbed my sleep on multiple nights, and a lack of shuttle service made getting to Amalfi challenging.

i enjoyed that the hotel was absolutely charming and fairly clean. my room was lovely and beautiful and complete with air conditioning, tv plus a balcony. marvellous central location near ravello after staying at other 3 stars and one 5 stars hotels all over amalfi and amalfi and the port. spent a nice evening at la cucina di sofi, located a short walk to the venue.

Hotel was picturesque and functional!
The room was big and spotless, with air conditioning and fresh towels, for instance, slept really well.

I loved waking up to the kind atmosphere created by the staff. Breakfast in the lovely garden was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options that set the tone for the day. The location is really good, just a 2-3 minute walk from the main square.

Availability to the town center
No parking. You have to park (and pay) down the road and carry your luggage up to the hotel. No luggage carrier services are offered, as they are in other hotels that cannot offer parking

public parking nearby, excellent control over A/C, close proximity to main square
Noise from the restaurant across the courtyard is a real problem!!! A lack of shuttle service to Amalfi is a major inconvenience for those who want to explore the area without hassle!!!

Immediate to the heart of Ravello.
After our previous accommodations on this trip this hotel was basic.

I liked the chairs and tables in the Entrance Hall-colour. The situation was very central. They were very helpful over the wi-fi
Ravello is a very expensive place,so obviously the Toro being 3 star, was a little cheaper but still well over £100 a night. The rooms were cramped, and the shower cabinet far too small. Not the kind of room you wanted to spend a lot of time in. The breakfast was very poor, considering we were in the centre of an amazing fruit and veg. area.No choice of cereal ( in tiny bowls), stale inedible rolls 2 mornings running, a tinned peach ( no fresh fruit)and a slice of processed cheese and ham. The coffee was also tasteless. I NEVER complain, but compared to our last 3 star in Priano, it is chalk and cheese. Sorry.

regular service
Before booking this hotel, it is worth to note the following addition to the cost of living in it: we had to pay 20 euros, leaving our car at 19 and taking it at 12 the next day. Unfortunately, the description of the hotel does not include the information that it is impossible to reach it by car. So you have to choose: either lift your bags from the car park (about 30 meters vertically), or pay for this 5 euros per bag.

The room was cozy and amazing location just a minute from the main square. I really loved being able to control the A/C. Waking up reminded me of being at home thanks to the friendly vibe. Breakfast in the lovely garden was a nice touch, but the noise from the nearby restaurant was a bit distracting at night.
